GARAGE SALES are not permitted in the Canadian Lakes Community unless authorized specifically by the Board of Directors; however Estate and Moving sales are allowed. We offer a Community Wide Garage sale on Friday and Saturday of Memorial Weekend. Any signage must be obtained from the CLPOC office.
ESTATE SALE may be defined as an on-site sale of the personal effects, including furniture and furnishings of a deceased individual by the heirs of the estate.
MOVING SALE may be defined as an on-site sale of the personal effects, including furniture and furnishings of an individual or family moving from Canadian Lakes.
In order to hold a sale it is important that the persons holding the sale register at the CLPOC office, 10690 Pierce Road, Canadian Lakes, MI 49346 and pay the appropriate deposit/fees. Upon receipt of a completed application and payment of fees the person holding the sale will receive a set of signs to help them with their sale, including directional arrows and location sign. Signage other than that provided by the CLPOC is prohibited on the private properties and common areas of the Canadian Lakes Community.
